As proud supporters of health and education within our community, we* are proud to announce that we’re supporting Wellington Women’s Refuge and their sister organisation Māori Women’s Refuge, by donating supplies urgently needed.  

Both organisations perform such valuable mahi, working together to ensure a safe and confidential service for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Their vision is for all women and children to live free from fear and violence, and they’re committed to freedom from all forms of oppression.  

We were approached by students working on a school project with a focus on helping and contributing to the community.   Their hope was to make 100 care packages from the list of supplies needed for both women and children and seeking any support we would be able to offer.  

Supporting Women’s Refuge and Māori Women’s Refuge is just one way we’re proud to support our local communities. We also contribute to initiatives such as the Special Children’s Christmas Party, Innovative Young Minds, and our Graffiti Removal Programme.
